Re: Cold, bored, and Dave-less
What's for dinner tonight? Oatmeal...I'm freezing!

Current temp where you are? Brrrr....35, but the "feels like" temp is 26

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? Hmmm...people always seem to think I look like Nanny Jo, so maybe if she's available, LOL. Jenny Garth? Anyone but Kellie Martin or Tiffani Amber Thiessen. Tori Spelling only if NO ONE else is available.

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Coffee...I like my tea iced, unsweetened, no lemon.

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? Honestly haven't even started thinking about it.

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? A gram scale! I'm tired of spilling Elecare everywhere.

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? SO odd! I have one down here, but not when I'm creating a post...go figure???

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? Let me know, all you cold weather ladies...I'm trying to convince Dave that Channy needs both a parka and an ugly xmas sweater!

Last med you gave your kiddo? Reglan, Zantac, and Carnitor

Plans for tomorrow? Playing in the SNOW! And not driving, LOL.

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? I'm really, really not a great baker. I'd LIKE to make cut out cookies w/ Ava, but she doesn't really like to touch the dough. We'll make something, I'm sure, but I don't know if it will qualify as "baking".

What's for dinner tonight? A nice cocktail of Dilaudid for breakthough, fentanyl PCA, phenergan, and protonix and levaquin.

Current temp where you are Its in the 50's I think.

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? Probably Meredith Grey.

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Coffee if I'm tired. Sugar Cookie tea during the winter. And hot cocoa pretty much year round.

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? Yeah, no shopping for me.

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? An apartment somewhere in Boston.

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? Computer is possessed?

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? Ha, no way.

Last med you gave your kiddo? N/A

Plans for tomorrow? Colonscopy and possible PICC placement for possible TPN.

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? Since I've been in NC, I've made pumpkin rice pudding, eggnog rice pudding, pumpkin cheesecake, and apples and cinnamon bread pudding.

What's for dinner tonight? Turkey breast roasted with a maple syrup glaze

Current temp where you are: 46 and freakishly cold!

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? That story would bore everyone to death!

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? All of the above -- depends on my mood, the weather and need to reduce carbs

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? Barely started

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? A live-in maid

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? Huh?

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? Nope -- at 90 and 115 lbs, they're warm enough in any weather!

Last med you gave your kiddo? The boy - Vyvanse this morning. The girl - Cutivate this morning.

Plans for tomorrow? Church, Christmas concert in the afternoon and then doing test run of [foamboard] gingerbread house decorating before I take the project to Catherine's class on Thursday.

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? Not really. C and I made cookies this afternoon just because we felt like it. GF rocky road of sorts that we made up as we went along. They turned out really well -- pronounced yummy by preschooler, dad and two 14yo boys.

Re: Cold, bored, and Dave-less
What's for dinner tonight? Chicken pot pie at my mom's house. The kids have never had it, so I'm trying to amp them up for it.

Current temp where you are 58 degrees and gloomy cloudy. It was 80 on Thanksgiving and now it's supposed to rain nearly every day next week.

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? Jennifer Aniston.

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Yes, yes and yes.

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? Ha. Heh. Not a thing. I think I may crochet phone cozys for everyone from my yarn stash. We're really short on the cash right now.

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? A five bedroom house with a yard and a guest house in the back for my in-laws to move into. But I really need some new clothes, including underwear. Losing weight is great, but everything is big right now.

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? Not a clue! I'm techno-not-so-savvy unless it's AutoCAD.

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? LOL! I can't find a sweater big enough for my 100 pound, 10 month old "puppy".

Last med you gave your kiddo? Motrin for a low-grade temp about two weeks ago.

Plans for tomorrow? Put up our Christmas tree, make hot chocolate and go see Christmas lights.

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? Yep! Cinnamon rolls this year, too!

Re: Cold, bored, and Dave-less
What's for dinner tonight? We ate a late lunch at The Cheesecake Factory today, so we'll probably just snack for dinner.

Current temp where you are 30* with a wind chill of 21*

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? Well, since we lost Farrah, I don't really know who has the stuningly good looks to pull it off.

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Coffee in the morning and early afternoon, hot cocoa in the evening with Brenna, and hot tea with honey & lemon whenever I'm sick.

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? Believe it or not, I think we're done!

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? A bigger house complete with playroom for the big kids and the little kid and a garage big enough to hold both of our vehicles. I really believe the only two vehicles that would fit in my current 2 car garage would have to be Smart cars.

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? Good question.

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? Nope, even if we had a pet it wouldn't wear clothes.

Last med you gave your kiddo? Allegra, Triaminic, & Ibuprofen this morning; getting ready to break out the Flintstones and Prevacid in a few minutes.

Plans for tomorrow? ???? watch it snow, perhaps?

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? Ooh, maybe we'll do that tomorrow. We usually do some minor baking. A few cookies and some fudge.

What's for dinner tonight? This Vietnamese soup I make with mustard greens and pork meatballs in it

Current temp where you are 36 degrees but not raining so yay!

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? Ummm I don't know, I like Claire Danes

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? All of them depending on my mood! I usually veer toward coffee if it's early in day

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? ha ha, have not even started

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? A kid that likes to eat? Or if that's impossible then a house with mortgage paid would be great!

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? Nope sorry

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? No pets (DH is allergic) but if we did they probably wouldn't

Last med you gave your kiddo? Prevacid

Plans for tomorrow? Church

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? No but I make a mean pumpkin bread!

What's for dinner tonight? We went out for fast food - Runza. I'm making chili tomorrow.

Current temp where you are - I think it's 7 degrees or something ridiculous like that. Once it drops below freezing, does it even matter anymore? :cold:

Who's going to play you in your Lifetime Movie? I have no clue!

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? Coffee most of the time - but I had some amazing peppermint hot chocolate at work on Friday afternoon so I'll be looking for some of that for home!

Christmas shopping status: done, haven't started, middle of the road? Barely started!

If you could buy yourself anything RIGHT NOW, what would it be? A Baker's Rack for the kitchen And a new Vera bag - but I always want that!

Any ideas as to why I don't have a cursor in the post box here??? Maybe your PC is just having a weird night. It's cold too!

Do you pets wear sweaters/coats when it's cold? LMBO! No - but the skinny Tzu really should. He shivers like crazy! But then he gets all nervous when you put the coat/sweater on him and shakes from that. So, we've given up. They just don't stay out very long when it's this cold.

Last med you gave your kiddo? Prevacid to Lora almost a week ago!

Plans for tomorrow? Laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping and maybe even a bit of Xmas shopping too.

Do you bake Christmas/holiday cookies? Not really sugar cookies or anything like that - but I might this year so Josh can decorate them. But I do pumpkin bread often.
