Another gerdling in the family
Well i had kendra August 21st. She started out doing wonderful, and at 3 months old today we have noticed an increase in coughing spells, and can see her reflux. She is a "gorger" instead of a not eating gerd baby..
She already is up to 12lbs, wearing 6 month clothes. Her reflux is not severe, we are doing albuterol prn for wheezing and started zantac bid yesterday.
I can't really complain, she doesn't fuss that much, sleeps 8+ hours straight at night, just no where as sick as Carson.
Which I am very thankful.

btw please excuse my typing i cut the tendon in my left pinky yesterday and have a bunch of stiches (another story all togehter, ending with me getting surgery next week)

My boys are doing great, Carson is finally wearing 4t clothes, he sprung up so fast on me I didn't even have clothes to fit him. SO he has ended up with a new wardrobe.

Wyatt is mr straight a's as usual and a big help to me around the house (wonderful kid)

Steve and I separated back in the summer, and now back together doing better than ever!

now for the questions or a 'refreasher" is zantac a weight/dose med? and its fast acting right?

Congratulations on your gorgeous baby girl!

Kitty has always tended to comfort eat bless her, although as a baby she couldn't keep enough down for this to make a difference She's changed more recently though and has been more likely to refuse food when her tummy hurts.

thank you!
I have to say imo Id rather Kendra be a comfort eater right now, she doesn't throw it up though.... Carson would barely keep down 2 ounces at this point and stayed so little, t his is actually a blessing.

Re: Another gerdling in the family
Hi Angela! COngratulations, she is so beautiful. Thanks for posting the pics. So sorry to hear that she is only just now starting to reflux, I hope it is short lived. Zantac should work straight away (within 30mins) but you will notice most improvement within a couple of days and it is weight dependent, so remember to increase it as she increases in weight.

Hope to see you around here more
