Stomach hurting?
Nicholas is doing pretty well. The increased Nexium seems to really get him eating. The problem now is that he is complaining that his stomach hurts a lot. He has never eaten this well in his life. I have a feeling this is from all the food. But what can I do?

Re: Stomach hurting?
Have you guys tried Reglan to get things moving along a little faster with the DGE? I know that things backing up can cause a lot of pain.

Re: Stomach hurting?
I like Nikkis suggestion
but I have a feeling that he'll do like Eric and figure it out on his own
whatever you do don't let on that you think he's eating too much. Also try to time his meals really well with his meds and bed time to help keep him more comfortable. Who knows? Maybe his tummy will catch up to things with a little time and you won't have to interveen at all.
Also make sure you keep that poop coming. More food Equals more poop and you may have to help him along in that area

Re: Stomach hurting?
Sebastian has been complaining of stomach aches a lot too. He had a big reflux flair and we increased the meds and he is under control now, but after at least one meal a day he will hold him stomach and say that it hurts and ask for Tums. I make him wait 5 min before I give him any meds and he is usually better by then. I don't know if it is gas pain or what, sorry I guess I am not much help.

Re: Stomach hurting?
I am thinking the DGE is a good idea. We took him off meds a little while ago. He is definitely getting more constipated and I have increased his mirilax this week.
Thanks ladies you are the best! Why I hadn't thought of that I don't know. Even my dh said oh yeah we should but him back on e-mycin. DUH!
