We've been Heinz fans here, but recently the market was taken over by Beechnut. I've heard so much about that company from all of you for the 2 years that I've been a member here, so I'm hoping that someone will be able to answer my question.

Heinz had a toddler cereal that was for 12 months plus. The grains were much finer than cheerios, but definitely a step up from the 8-month cereal. I can't find it anywhere here, and we really need it to continue with Evan's supplements. Does anyone know if it exists and what stage it is?

Janette.. I just looked at Beechnuts website and didn't see anything similiar..

Gerber Sells a graduates cereal that is almost like mini flakes.

Janette, I'm a huge fan of beechnut and am pretty familiar w/what they carry. However, I have not come across anything like that. That doesn't mean it does not exist but I haven't seen it.
I'm sure you've seen the Gerber Graduates flakes??? That's the only thing I can think of.

I came up with this, although not sure that is what you're looking for. I've never seen this around here but it's something diff. than waht I have seen.
Beech-Nut Baby Food: Our Baby Food (http://www.beechnut.com/Our%20Baby%20Food/product.asp?P=38539&Category=2&SearchValue=1&SearchVals=Cereals&ListValue=2&SearchType=By Product Type&ProdType=)
If that doesn't work just go to the search under "cereals" if you haven't already done so. ;)

Heinz took over the Gerber market long ago here, so there's absolutely no Gerber to be found. Does Beechnut carry anything beyond a stage 2?

yes, they do...go to www.beechnut.com (http://www.beechnut.com) and click " our baby food" at the top. To the left of that window there are search optoins.

We've tried the Gerber flakes...not sure if that's what you're looking for, though. They are like mushy Rice Krispies. Is that the sort of consistency you're looking for?

No worries--I know you were politely telling me that I'm a total bonehead for not reading posts more carefully.

No, it's more like little rice krispie pieces with small flakes of oatmeal, fruit and a few other small grains. I can't find it on that website though. :(

IS it that they dont carry what he needs anymore? If that's the case, Janette...I am more than willing to purchase some bulk for you and ship them to you if you need it! The gerber graduates are the only thing that comes to my mind about what you are referring to. If you haven't tried those I can buy one box so you can try it out before you decide.

Here they are:
Gerber > Toddler > Little Flakes (http://www.gerber.com/toddlersite?tmsdir=food&tmspage=grad_flakes.html&tmspromo=2)

Thanks for the offer, Sara! I checked the website, and it doesn't look like they have what we need. I'm hoping there's another grocery chain somewhere that carries it. So far the 2 chains near us don't have it.

It's like little rice krispie pieces with small flakes of oatmeal, fruit and a few other small grains, and a consistency for ages 12 months plus.
