My OT told me about this website for allergy testing. I'm going to see if I can get a doctors script to have this done. If it confirms MSPI or any other allergies with great accuracy, I think its well worth the money.

That's interesting, but they don't ship to where we are. :(

Wow! I wonder why more doctor's offices don't use this...?

I think I've heard of this before. I don't know how I feel about it though as I would think most allergists would have as good of tests as anywhere else. AFAIK there are no reliable tests for food dyes etc, it's just trial and error which can be frustrating. Also, MSPI isn't an allergy per se as it doesn't produce antibodies, it's just some babies and children aren't ready to handle the proteins yet so there aren't any tests for it. Just call me the pessimist! lol

The IgE testing has been one of my pet projects for research and I have had it on the backburner. I spoke to my ped about it awhile ago and she thinks it is unreliable. I am not sure yet, but understand that it does have its share of problems based on what research I have come up with thus far.

People that I do know, including family members, have had this done have virtually the same results. That is odd to me considering how different all of them are with symptoms, backgrounds, etc.

Here is an article I had found regarding it:

There is a doctor here (actual physician) who is well versed with this and I may become desperate enough to go and see him for this if all else fails with my middle son. For now, I am holding off.
