Ok, so I keep giving him the Zantac with the Prevacid, do I give him both at the same time??? :shock:

I think I have heard that you can stretch them out, or maybe give prevacid before the meal and zantac after? We gave Eli 3 meds, 2 for emptying and 1 for reflux and we gave them all at the same time. Why don't you call the pharmacist and ask him? That way all of us can quit speculating because I think this came up somewhere else to and noone knows for sure :-D :-D :-D LOL

It's important to space the meds out....
The PPI needs acid in the stomach to work
I would rec:

PPI first thing in the am
zantac ( 4hrs-ish later)
PPI dose
zantac before bed

OR

PPI first thing
2 doses of zantac spaced out during the day
PPI before bed
