Did anyone have feeding problems following shots? jeremy had his 2 month shots yesterday and he ate OK yesterday but doesn't seem to have much of an appetite today. he still acts hungry and seems to want the bottle initially but will stop eating after about 1 oz. He also seems to have learned a new trick - he will suck but somehow nothing comes out so he just winds up using his bottle as a pacifier which can be very frustrating as I amd sitting with him for an hour and he is sucking happily but not eating. Has anyone had this happen?

Most all of us have had problems with our refluxers after shots. He is probably feeling flu like symptoms which will make his appetite not that great plus it will cause his reflux to flare up making further problems. Not to mention, how crappy the shots are making him feel too so... it is probably all those things. He will probably feel better in a day or two..:-D

Sarah neve ate well after shots- it seemed to last 2 days. Tylenol would sometimes help. Watch for a fever. Sarah go a high feve after her 2 month shots.

The effects of the shots last a good week in my daughter... with her not eating well at all for about three days following... so to answer your question, yes, it happens to most of the GERDlings here.

Hope that helps!

Shots affect Catherine for a good 2-3 days after she receives them, which is not a good thing in a child who is naturally whiney, lol. She gets several in a month at her 12mo check-up. NOT looking forward to that! I scheduled it for a Friday to give her the weekend to recuperate.
