Just wondering what time you feed your little one's their dinner/last meal and how many hours go between their lunch and dinner.
Zac gets lunch at noon and dinner at 5pm. I have a friend who's little one (same age) get's lunch at noon and dinner at 6pm but I wonder if that's too long to wait or maybe I'm giving dinner too soon. I guess everyone has their own preferences and if they give snack time or not, but I'm curious as to your input.
Thanks:holly:

Hi Sara. Lauren gets lunch at 12:00 and dinner at 6:00, just like your friend. She gets her 2nd bottle for the day around 3:00 pm. I do it this way because I like for her to sit down to dinner with DH and I. I don't usually get home until 5:00 some weeks, 5:30 other weeks. It works well for us.

Cady gets lunch at around 11 AM, then dinner around 4 PM. We actually made her dinner this early, because my Mom can feed her dinner three days a week before I pick her up as usually our dinner isn't done until 6:30 and that's only an hour before she goes to bed and we don't like to give her solids so close to bedtime as she doesn't sleep as well then. She usually has a small snack in at about 2 PM of cheerios, rice crispies, or Gerber puffs.

I generally try to give the kids lunch around 11 a.m. and supper by 4 p.m. They also have a snack at 7 p.m.

Catherine has a Yo Baby and 4oz bottle at 8:00am, 4oz of fruit or veggie and 4oz bottle at noon, 4oz bottle at 4:00pm and dinner (4oz of fruit or veggie plus a small amount of something she can feed herself like cheese or dry cereal) at 6:30pm. She has a 4oz bottle at 7:00pm and goes to bed. We eat afterward. She also has 1-2 4oz night feeds.

my son eats small amounts all day rather than set meals. I find he has a better time of it when his tummy isnt empty.
