In case you missed the update to my thread in the "Good Days" forum, Bethany produced two large, beautiful poops for me today!!
Oh, they were soft and appeared to cause no discomfort--I am in poopy Heaven!
She is a different kid...she's already eaten 5 oz. today, she slept amazingly well last night and she's pooping loose stools on her own for the first time in...well...many, many months. Bethany has been buzzing around the house full of energy today. I am still stunned--Is this what it's like to have a kid who's not in pain?!
**Please pray that whatever is causing this lovely turn of events doesn't go away!!**

If you had told me a year ago that I'd be in a public forum describing the consistency, color and size of my daughter's bowel movements, I would have written you off as insane. *lol*
That being said, things are as they are and her day today ranks as one of the top 3 days of my life...

That's such good news, Mary! Yes, that's what it's like to have a kid not in pain...something is working. I'm crossing my fingers that this lasts a while.

OOOH Mary!!! I'm jumping up and down for you both!! Isn't it WONDERFUL to see them poop on their OWN after having to force it out for MONTHS?! Miralax is the miracle poop drug I guess! May those mash tater poops runneth over!!! How did she sleep last night?

You know Sarah, I was thinking of doing the same thing! LOL I have written down some things that have happened over the years like when Walker was trying to be a helpful big brother when we first brought Curran home and he was told to "get rid of this" (diaper). We heard the flush and jumped up in time to deal with the tidal wave from the bathroom... Ladies, you find out fast what your friends are made of when they come over to help you remove a toilet, snake it and replace it.:shock:
Poopy stories are so great. Sigh. Never in a million years would I believe that my life would revolve around puke and poop.
