Hmmm, what about one of those adjustable beds for old people?? Well, I know its sounds crazy and totally too expensive, but hey, thats what I came up with. Besides, he would probably get longer use out of it than an elderly person....:xmas1:

Your a riot Erin :)
Any how hopefully Roni will pop in here and maybe she'll have a cheaper idea. I swear those beds are really expensive plus he would play instead of sleep, plus the kid has been spending much of his nights in our bed so I guess it would need to be something easily moved.
hmmmmm

We bought a wedge from Len's Mills. You can probably find one in a sewing-type store.

Okay, this may sound sooo bad coming from a long time GERD mom but, what do they look like ??? We have always made our own out of books and blankets. :)

The one that we tried was a big foam wedge that I had to wrap in blankets. I found that since Evan is still pretty young, he just slides down off of it. If you can find a fairly cheap one, it's certainly worth while trying though, especially since Noah is older and more likely to stay on it.

we elevated the entire top 2/3rds of his mattress and found he had a much better time of it from that day forward. No matter how far he slides down he is still elevated. Unable to afford wedges, we simple rolled up several thick blankets and stacked them.

Has anyone tried using a hammock with a spreader bar as a bed in their child's room? I've been thinking about this alot lately because my daughter is 2 years 4 months old and getting ready to move to a big girl bed. The only time she was ever a really happy sleeper was when she was in her Amby bed. I may be crazy, but I'm actually considering this...

We have just recently elevated the head of my 3 year old refluxers bead by putting books under the frame and I do believe it is helping her. We tried a big wedge once but she just rolled off of it.

Good luck.
