Well...for those of you who remember...we were giving Zac half of his dose for a few weeks and he seemed just fine. Then...after this (and enulose) he started acting in pain again while nursing and off and on during the day. I was commenting on how it seemed like something more stomache wise other than reflux but I put him back on his FULL tab dose just incase.
Since THEN, we've come to the conclusion that it's safe to say it was the enulose/constipation that was making him uncomfortable. He was VERY distended and gassy. He is still gassy and a bit uncomfy but not as bad as he was. He's been switched to miralax.
I've been hearing a lot about prevacid not helping in the poop dept. and can actually make things worse. I'm thinking about trying to go back down to half a tab a day instead of twice a day.
I have to say that his bibs are not nearly as messy lately...today was the FIRST DAY EVER that I did NOT put a bib on him and ...so far so good!!!! *I* ended up w/a teenie bit of turkey on my shirt but hey...whatever!
I just wanted to express my thoughts to you all. I guess Its worth a shot. I do think it was more gastro issues he was dealing w/rather than reflux. WHO KNOWS!

Could it be though that the reason he is doing so well is because of the prevacid he is taking each day? Just a thought.... :wink:

<SIGH> well...I suppose it could be! LoL...
I guess I'm just thinking that his fits where due to his gas and he still has them on occassion w/the double dose of prevacid or w/out so I don't think it's related. I just want him off this sh*t already :( I dunno what to do now.
