The Maalox bottle is the worst. I currently have mine inside of a gallon zip lock to keep all that flaky white sh** contained. Then, to get a syringe full, I have to stick my fingers half way in and tilt the bottle, so I get covered in nasty chalky Maalox that seems to hang out in the creases of my fingernails (I know, nasty). Anyways, I was thinking about transfering it to an empty Prilosec bottle so that I could put one of those toppers on. Is this okay? I'm always weary about medications going bad or losing strength. But, the Maalox bottle doesn't seem like anything special, anyways...

Sounds like a good idea to me. I wish I would have done that when Sam was getting Maalox.

That is a good idea! :D If you're worried, you could call the pharmacist and see what he/she says....heck...they might give you an new one to use!

(well..probably not...but they might)

I had thought of asking for an empty bottle, but I don't think they'd do that. I don't know why, but it seems like they wouldn't want to. I guess I could always try.

Might be worth it to ask... they might have a idea for you too.

I would ask if you could use the other bottle though too. I dont stick my hands in the bottle lol I just pour it in the little medicine measuring cup we have and then suck it out of there. If there is any left in the little cup then we pour it back in the Maalox bottle.

Let me know what the pharmacy says!! lol
