Hey there, just wanted to say I LOVE the new feeding section!! We needed this!! :)

Anyway, Kaitlyn has recently started eating more solids at a time... she is now eating a who stage 2 jar at each sitting. She has had YoBaby too and will eat the whole 4oz too! She is finally eating a veggie!!! I decided after giving her a break awhile to try again with a lighter thinner veggie. We tried Squash and she did great and she likes it! She has eaten it just about everyday this week. No problems! :)

Still not eating any more formula... actually cut down a few ounces and is getting 20-22oz a day... I guess we'll see if the increased solids helps with the missing ounces. Not that I'm counting or caring as long as she is eating... she still has a couple weeks til her 6 month appointment!!

I cant believe she's going to be 6 months old!!!! :)

That's great, Michele!

Catherine has a whole Yo Baby for breakfast every day, 4oz of some combo of stage 2 fruits and veggies for lunch and usually no solids for dinner. She's lost interest by then.

That's great, Michele! Sounds like Kaitlyn is doing great with the solids! Wish we could say the same!

I am glad to hear that you're giving Catherine a whole YoBaby every day. I feel guilty giving one to Noah every day, but its one of the two foods he will eat. I didn't know if I was pushing it, so its nice to hear someone else is doing the same thing. Variety is just not an option, yet. Hopefully someday!

Remind me to buy Yobaby stock!

That's very exciting about Kaitlyn's eating, and it sound like Catherine is doing better, too. Maggie, is Noah eating mashed potatoes now? I just saw your other post, but I only make the instant kind, so I didn't respond!

Great news, Michele! It does seem to cut down on their fluid intake, but that makes sense. When Curran was a baby it did not change his fluid intake one bit, but he was yakking all the time, whereas it did make a big difference for Walker.

I am with Becky, Yobaby stock here I come! LOL We do not seem to have yobaby here, but we give Iain at least a youghurt drink a day as per the dietician. Our rule of thumb is not more than two cups of milk a day as it can contibute to anemia, so we try to limit his whole milk and yougurt drinks for the milk. Then again, Iain is much older than most of the kidlets on this topic (Daniel not included! )

That's great, Michelle. Sounds like she's doing pretty good in the eating department. I wouldn't worry too much about her formula intake right now, as long as she's growing.

Speaking of YoBaby, I went to the grocery store on Saturday and YoBaby was OUT! I mean, every last container! I had to get Dannon's Danimals Yogurt for Cady. Sheesh! That's the only reason I even went to the grocery store and they were out.

No, he's not eating it YET. I'm being optimistic about it, though. I'm going to make it today and see what he thinks. He's doing great with his two foods, and I really think he'd prefer to just eat them all day instead of bottles. The bottle aversion is worse than ever since he started eating 3 meals of solids. They're fairly small meals, also. I wish YoBaby could make some Alimentum yogurt flavored like yobaby. That would do the trick. I want to throw these bottles out the window! This child HATES them!
