I don't know what is going on with Connor lately. He has been sleeping horribly! Last night he woke up at 12am then fussed until 1am when I finally decided to feed him so we could all get some rest.(So I thought) He constantly was waking up. I can't figure it out .He was sleeping through the night for a month. He would go to bed about 8pm and sleep until 6:30 or 7:00am then all of the sudden he started waking up several times and fussing. My oldest son calls him the rubix cube baby!(You just can't figure him out no matter how hard you try(lol) His naps were also horrible today ! He only took three short naps. He just started fussing again as I write this....... Is is the binky, the reflux, too hot, too cold, hmmmmm? Ok I'll stop rambling now!

It could be a growth spurt....and he could be hungry. I believe they have one at 2 months, 4 months, and again at 6 months. :?:

Emma has only slept through a handful of times....and just recently has taken decent naps. I hope he starts sleeping better for you! :D

Noah slept through the night for about one month at one point. It was such a good month... Then, all of a sudden, he stopped and hasn't done it since. Well, a handful of times, but nothing to get excited about. I think he was sleeping through at about 3.5-4.5 months, but now, at almost 7, he is not. The wierd thing is, he was barely eating when he slept all those hours. Now, he's eating decently and he's not.

There is no ryhme or reason here... I'm just praying he begins again sometime soon...

Amanda could definitely be right about the growth spurt.

Oh, and what an adorable little boy! He has a GREAT smile!!!!!!!!

could be anything.

Eli always had a hard time with sleep but his was caused by the reflux mainly. He was refluxing constantly or vomiting or in pain. Sometimes worse than others. Is he growing? He may need a med increase. We could always see which way he was heading on the roller coaster by changes in his sleep patterns.

Hopefully its teeth or growth spurt, and most likely it is!

We too have the same sleep problems. 10 to 15 min naps and truly has never slept through the night.

Let me tell you, Conner has the smile of the century!!! I love it!! :P

What a cutie pie Connor is!!! ANyway, about the sleep... often babies do this when they need to start solids.... they have been sleeping through and then all of a sudden start waking up wanting feeds/ fussing (this is assuming nothing else is wrong like teeth/cold etc etc). Is he on solids yet??
Sadly, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason.. it's very frustarting always trying to second guess what's going on with a baby!!!

Hi guys and thanks for all of the nice replies about Connor's picture! He actually slept pretty good last! About an hour after he went down he woke up several times fussing and I just kept putting his pacifier in but then he slept until about 3am and had 4oz and went right back to sleep! Slept until 7am. He may be teething because he drools contantly! Or your right he definately could be going through a growth spurt! He went from eating about 16 oz a day to about 25 all of the sudden! Of course he spits probably half of that up but I'm sure you all know how that goes. I actually just bought a Safe-T-Sleep off ebay so I'm excited to try it!!! We also just ordered something called a Bumbo Baby Sitter (not sleep related) but it's suppose to help him sit up! I'm such a sucker for anything that's suppose to make my life easier!!! Hope it works I'll let you know. I'm trying to keep him from laying on his head as much as possible because he's getting a flat spot!

Oh yes, you will love the Bumbo. Tavin would not sit up and I found one at the consignment store. He was sitting up a month after we started using it. We asked our OT if it would be ok and she said it was great and she was going to get one to use for all her babies.

Congrats on getting a little sleep! I will pray for another night for you! :angel8:

SafeTsleep's are GREAT!!! Until they want to roll over/move about the cot and learn how to undo the velcro- d'oh! My boys are 10 1/2 months now, and even though they know how to get out of it, I still use the safeTsleep during day naps but at night I leave them out of it... they are more peaceful and settled if they can roll over during the night. After all, it must get uncomfortable lying on your back ALL nght.
