My son had an Upper GI performed on Wednesday and some of the liquid hardened in his stomach and he just now passed it. It got stuck in his butt hole and I had to help him get it out. It made him bleed some too. I talked to his dr and she said that happens sometimes and that as long as it doesnt happen again and his next stool isnt bloody than he is fine. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else.

I thought Jaidon threw everything up to, but apparently some was left in his tummy.

Sam puked all of his as well, but I was told that it wouldmake him constipated had he not puked it all. I know that when he had his first upper GI he didn't puke it all up and the nurses in the nursery gave him some pear juice.

I do know that in adults it comes out like concrete so I'm guessing it's the same for littlies. Poor Jaidon ((HUGS)). Hope his next poop is okay.

Hi Brittany,

My son had the same thing as you have just experienced, only it took 3 days for him to have a bowel movement at all. It was a hard white concrete poop that got stuck as well and I had to help it come out, which my son wasn't overly pleased with. We had blood as well and were concerned that it could have caused fissures.

Unfortunately for us, we are still struggling with the severe constipation and are heading to the doctors later this afternoon.

Good luck and I hope that the poops become regular and soft again soon!!

Oh, ouch! How is doing now?

They should probably think of offering a laxative or something to help it pass as so many seem to have this concrete stool afterwards. Poor kiddos.
