Noah's Mom

We had to ditch the safetysleep as Noah decided that he likes to move A LOT during the night. Once he realized he was confined, he'd freak out.
We had rolled up towels along side him and a pillow at his feet to keep him in the inclined position, but its really not helping now.
Noah wakes often, but he's been good about just scooting around for a sec, maybe turning on his Fisher Price "Birdy" crib toy, then goes back to sleep (at least a few times out of the many he wakes). Anways, he scoots out of the nest and ends up rolling to the bottom or getting wedged into the side of the crib and then I have to keep getting up and moving him, which stimulates him enough to keep him awake.
We just flattened the crib to see if it would work out, but he gagged several times in his sleep, so I think it better go back to inclined. Plus, he is sick and very congested.
Any fool-proof ideas on keeping him in the nest?
