All of you have such helpful hints that I have learned from that I have to share one that works for me. I've been using a beanbag for my daughter's naps and those times when I need to do something during that "holding upright period" after eating(under close supervision, of course). Invariably, that's when the other DD needs a snack or help with something. I use the beanbag only occasionally now that our meds are working so much better. I was able to "squish" it so that she could sit upright and still feel comfy enough to nap and not fall over. Hope this helps someone.

That is a good idea, although I don't think it would work for us. I would be afraid that either the cats will tear it up or he will wiggle out of it somehow.

Thats a great idea! Eli has one now, I wish he would have had one when younger, it would have helped alot!

Ditto! I had 2 children's size beanbags and put the sheepskin on it (just so the boys couldn't get lost in it and suffocate) and I used to swaddle them and they would sleep right here with me in the lounge, where I could keep an eye on them. We only used it for daytime sleeps and it was the best- they were propped up but comfy enough to go bye-byes.
I even bought 2 when I went to Australia for when we stayed with Mum & Dad. We don't use them now as at around 5-6 months the boys started going to their cots for daytime sleeps. Once they are a little older, I will re-introduce them as "their chairs"!!!

Hmmmm.... Someone needs to create a beanbag with safety straps. Sounds like an awesome idea, but Noah climbs overboard if he's not buckled in! Can't crawl, but he can climb...
