Sarah uses one at day care and she seems to like it. They prop her up on her back on it, and on her tummy for tummy time. I wonder how it would work for naps and such, as I'm sure she's got to be getting sick of that darn car seat for naps and night time. Or, is what I'm thinking some kind of hazard I haven't thought of....? :?

Those boppys are great! Especially for tummy time! But from what I understand, you are only suppossed to use them with supervision. I think if you were to use them in the crib, and baby were to flip over, it could be a suffocation hazard. Not sure though...

We use the boppy! Noah HATES, I mean HATES tummy time, and for some reason, this thing helps. Also, we keep Noah elevated as much as possible throughout the day, and the boppy keeps his head up. But, now that he's twisting around and very active, he doesn't like it as much when he's on his back.
I wouldn't use this unsupervised, either. I think it would fall in the pillows and blankets catagory which are off-limits at this age.

I would especially watch them with tummy time on it. When I tried Aidin on one for tummy time, she pushed herself right over the top and her face was then in the ground. Mind you, she is only 4 months actual/2 months adjusted and was able to do this, I can't imagine what she could do when she gets older, in the way of pushing herself over it.
I know at day care they use them when they put them on the ground to lay them on their backs, but at home, Aidin would rather be flat on the ground..*BIG SIGH*. Maybe somday we will like tummy time.

Thanks for the replies. I did try it last night and it was great as far as I could put her down, get a few things done, and know she wasn't flat on her back to aggrivate the reflux. She did fall asleep in it, which was nice, as she was comfy and warm. I checked on her often. There's a big notice on the pillow tag that said not to use it for sleeping!

Zac use to use the boppy A LOT but not for sleep. Seems he would slip down and end up w/his chin in his chest at an akward angle.
