I also have a 5 1/2 yr. old daughter & a 2 1/2 year old son. My hubby & I are so glad I found this site! It helps knowing others have dealt with this & survived the sleepless nights & crying!

Welcome to the boards! I know that you'll find the answers and support here - I know that I have! This website has helped me so much! My daughter, a bit over 6 months old, has reflux. I've learned a lot from everyone on this website and I look forward to getting to know you!

Our youngest, Samson, was born with reflux but wasn't diagnosed till 4 weeks. I can't remember how old he was when I found this site but I sure wished it had been a lot earlier then it was as it has been so, so helpful.

Janette, I have looked at the links you gave me. Thank you so much. I feel like I am starting to get a grip on this & what all it entails.

Thanks to all the info you all have given me, I called Jessie's doctor & got her in. We started Zantac tonight. She seems to not be sleeping as good tonight. I can't wait to see if this helps.

Just wanted to say welcome to the site and I agree it does help to know you are not alone in what you are feeling. I hope also that the medicines show improvement quickly.

I hope that the Zantac works for you! You'll want to give it a two week trial. If at that point you're not seeing an improvement, there are other drugs that are also available. Good luck and please update us when you get a chance!
