We went to the let's get started program which was with Hobbes's old Child Developement worker today. She was amazed to see how well Hobbes was doing. She said that he was responding great and saw big improvements in him. There was a St there as well who was able to see Hobbes. She was great. She saw that we had started the basic and showed me how to do a mouth exercise with Hobbes. It is to show him that his mouth can move in different directions. It is like when someone grabs your face and pulls it in different directions to make funny faces. She said that it would take sometime to see if Hobbes's problem is that the message from his brain is not telling the mouth muscles how to move corrctly. She told me the name but I forgot what it is. :oops: If it is not written down, then I forget. :oops: So we will go to this program 2 more times where he will see St there as well then he will see the St three sessions after that till the St can cme to the house to start with him. So FINALLY ST IS INVLOVED!!!!!!! For a short time anyway but it is a start!!!! :bounce:

ST is speech therapy, right?

I had to laugh when you said you forget stuff that's not written down. I sooooo understand. :P

That's awesome that Hobbes is finally starting his speech! I'd love to hear
name for the brain not telling his mouth muscles how to move correctly, as that has been a comment we've had in respect to all of Evan's development in the past.

I will see if I can get her to write it down on the September 29 whne we go back, Janette so I can share it with you. :D
