"Best" is going to be different for each child. Zantac did nothing for Catherine; Prilosec made a world of difference. Of those listed, we haven't tried anything else.

Prevacid worked for D's reflux, but he couldn't handle the texture of the capsule or solutab, so we switched to Prilosec.

I agree. The combo. of Losec and Domperidone is what works for Evan.

Zantac did nothing for Nathan, but Prevacid made a world of difference. (Seems to be the story for a lot of people with the switch from Zantac to PPI). I always wonder why some docs are so insistent on using Zantac when it seems like it has more side effects than a PPI? Hmmmm

We have zantac currently and tried prevacid that gave Iain huge gastro issues. I can not say what would be the best as we are searching for that right now! We are hoping the trip to gastro on the 21st will yeild some options.

Cady's combo of Pepcid and Reglan has worked wonders for her.

60 mg of losec and 36 mls of reglan a day have had the best results we've ever experienced.
