Well we have our appointment on WEdnesday with the surgeon for Cody. I was just wondering if all that have been down this road could send us the questions we should be asking him when we go. I have so much going through my mind right now I just cant think straight enough to get them all. I was told today it would be a matter of a week or two before the surgery. I was expecting a lot longer I guess. Dont get me wrong I just want to get it and get it over with if that is possible!

Also, I know that there is a what to expect after surgery on this site but I was wondering about personal expierences:

How long were you in the hospital?
How long with the G-tube?
What to watch out for?
Anything else you can think of.

I have read several of the Fundo posts and they are great but my little guy is a little littler (if that is a word), he is only going to be 9 months on the 1st. Just curious what to expect and do and so on.

Thank you to all of you in advance!!

Jennifer

we were there 4 days.

you will need to watch for swelling, fever, and lethargy when you get home.

Hmmm, there are so many questions you should be asking. I dont even know where to start. I would ask lots of questions regarding what they think about trying liquids, pain meds you want used, what to REALLY expect post op. There is sooo much!

no, it doesn't, my son had a fundo without it, and it has gone well.
