We've had great luck with the Amby hammock. I was such a skeptic, but within days of it's arrival Emme was sleeping through the night with significantly less spitting. Of course I have had to endure the rounds of "aren't you afraid of SIDS/falling out/suffocating/poor posture/she'll never go into a bed?" but I've learned to come back with some zingers of my own. My fav is to invite the commenter to come over around 3 am and hold the baby for a few hours while she screams if I try her in the crib. Pop her in the Amby, she's never stayed awake for more than 5 minutes in it before nodding off. Took it on a weekend trip recently, I think the maid thought my husband and I were either nuts or into some bizarre taboo adult activites until we showed her what it was, tee hee! Oh well, if it makes my Emme feel better, it's worth it!
