How long after the fundo was your little one able to burp ?

How long after the fundo was your little one able to cough ?

When your little one retched or gagged was it intense or did it seem weak ?


Okay, that is 3 question !!!! :) Noah, has not beenable to cough yet and it's freakin me out a bit. Before he would cough right away, in fact he was coughing a bit before we left the hospital this time around but, hasn't for almost 2 weeks now. Also, when Noah gets something stuck down by the wrap his retching is so weak...it's really different this time compared to the other 3. hmmm. We go to the surgeon on Thursday now, they just called and changed it again. Just wondering inthe mean time.

(((hugs))) this time they redid Noahs espophagus, I am sure that may have something to do with his being weak and it is his fourth! I know you are worried, I am too, but I am sure he is just taking longer to heal and it isnt working yet and that is why it is weak. He has got a lot of healing to do. You poor thing!

OK, Eli couldnt cough for about 2 weeks. he cant burp and he cant vomit (he tries). His gagging/retching has always been strong. Noahs is different I am sure because of them redoing the bottom of his esophagus, his is different ((((hugs))) Hang in there! How long has it been now? I have lost track of time. And, thank you for posting on here, it looks like I have company now :D

come to think of it, he may not have coughed for over a month... Sorry, still just coming out of the fog from his surgery.

I cant compare E I know, but it seemed he was miserable for like 2 months and then poof they dialated him and now he is fine so.... hope he isnt too fine if you know what I mean. :roll: Now I worry they dialated him too much :shock: AHHHHH does it ever end with this????

Katy how is he doing these past few days. I do hope that he starts to improve soon. Hey you are sweet also. Hang in there and give it some time. I know that is easy for me to say but just try.

Noah's been doing about the same, and add in some shortness of reathe and there's his update ! Oh, and he screams if you put anything in the g-tube. He says it burns hmmm. We see the surgeon this afternoon.
