View Full Version : ComfyLiftBed
I just wanted to mention to everyone who may not have seen this advertised on the rest of the site, or at the top of the forum home page.
It's called the ComfyLiftBed (http://www.acidrefluxpillow.com/Toddler.htm) for toddlers and children.
They have been generously helping to sponsor the site for the last couple months, have just agreed to continue, and have even increased their advertising with us, in light of the new server requirements that we are aiming for.
I am very grateful for their ongoing support and really recommend checking out their toddler bed, it looks like a wonderful product and they are getting some rave reviews from people who have already purchased it. I'm not just saying that b/c they are sponsoring us either, I wouldn't make a claim that I do not believe to be true.

ElisMom 04-06-2005, 12:45 PM I cant tell, do they have a bigger one for a twin? I am thinking of switching Eli out of his crib soon. It looks like it is crib size but they have products for adults too so I wonder if they have twin? Looks cozy..... :D
Janette 04-06-2005, 12:59 PM That looks really neat! Good question about the twin size, Erin.
Thanks for sponsoring this site! We appreciate it so much!
I'm quite sure it fits anywhere, b/c it's advertised as being for toddlers and children and from my understanding is quite large...there is a picture that shows it being used in what looks like a bed with a little girl in front of it.
Hehe, I know it does look cozy!
The makers of the ComfyLiftBed sent me this testimonial that they received about their bed and I wanted to share it with everyone else:
Dear Mr. Rubio,
We ordered your Comfy Lift Bed for infants and toddlers on March 17, 2005. We received it just a few days later and we wanted to give you an update. Our son Luke is now 11 months old and has been suffering from acid reflux since he was born. He has been diagnosed failure to thrive and was 9 lbs 12.5 oz when he was born. He is only 18 lbs 5 oz now. In February of this year we decided to seek some alternative methods of controlling his acid reflux and took him off his prevacid at the advice of a homeopathic doctor. We saw a drastic improvement when we stopped his medicine regarding his appetite. He started eating and sleeping (2-3 hours at a time at night) but after a couple of weeks we noticed his voice was getting hoarse and was congested especially during the night. I came across the ad for your comfort lift pillow bed on a website and decided to order the bed in hopes that we would not have to put him back on any medication. Mr. Rubio, your bed design is a life saver for Luke and our whole family. The first night we put him to sleep he slept for 8 hours straight. We couldn’t believe it! I kept checking on him because he has never slept like that. The next night he did it again! A few days later he came down with a cold along with my daughter and despite a major cough and runny nose he still slept well. Last night he slept from 8:30 until 6:30 this morning had a bottle and slept until 8:00. We thank the Good Lord above for answering our prayers. We are so thankful to you for this bed design. No matter how he turns around in bed he is still elevated and is sleeping comfortably and it is no longer a struggle to put him to sleep. We showed our pediatrician the bed from the flyer and she posted it in her office to show her other patients because she knows how hard it has been for us. He is not on any medication for his acid reflux and his appetite is amazing. He is eating so much that I can’t keep him fed. He wants to eat everything and his energy level has improved because he is sleeping so well. Your bed is a gift from God. We are working with our insurance company to get reimbursement and have it listed under durable medical equipment. We wanted to let you know how thankful we are to you and wanted to let other parents know how well Luke is doing with his Comfy Lift Bed. I will keep you updated regarding our insurance company.
Sincerely,
Eric and Elaine Goodrich
Isn't it nice to hear of kids getting relief without medication!
Janette 04-12-2005, 08:05 PM Wow! What a wonderful testimonial!
sarahh 04-12-2005, 11:15 PM Doesn't that bed look soooo comfy!!! Do you get a subsidy from your insurance (or however it works over there) as a piece of therapeutic equipment for your child who has special needs??? I just wonder if that was possible for some of you?? If it works that wonderfully, it would cost the insurance company less in the costs of meds etc in the long run.
Nathan'sMommy 04-12-2005, 11:18 PM That bed looks great. Do they make a king bed size? :) It seems like it solves all the sliding down the mattress, sliding sideways problems...
Yes, it looks like they have thought of everything in the design of this bed.
I think that some insurance companies may cover it, although like anything else, it might take some pressure from the patient's parents.
Vicky 02-16-2007, 05:32 PM Has anyone on here used this? We're considering getting one.
amylou1977 02-16-2007, 06:53 PM i wonder if the state aid insurance would help cover the cost ... i have the nest it the crib but what about when she gets bigger?
magicalquaxo 12-07-2009, 11:43 PM i'm an inch too tall for the adolecent one =[

cece2scott 12-30-2009, 12:52 PM Hello,
I bought a Comfy Lift Bed recently. However, while waiting for it in the mail...my kiddo slept flat! I still can't believe it! So basically spent all that money...and could not even use it. He slept on it a total of 5 days.
The total cost plus shipping was almost 800.00. We got the one with the infant insert. It can be used up until a kiddo is about 5 years old! I am looking to sell it. I could not get onto the classifieds. Could someone help me with this?
Also, would somebody be interested in buying this product for a reduced price.
Thanks!
