Okay,I talked to Hobbes'CDW today and she tells me that the Child Developement specialist was going to review the tape last week but she had to cancel the veiwing because she got called away. She is going to be reviewing it on the 13th. So I hope that I will be told of the answers that day or the next. It is hard wondering what is "normal" two or should I say closer to 3's behavour? On the good not, I have gotten hubby to agreet o daycare 2 days off of the week(if we can afford it) to see if he will start to talk around other children but we have to find one first and he doesn't want to start till September but we will see. So I will cross my fingers and hope to get some answers on the 13th.
Oh and our permant CDW starts next week. She will be with us then the kids are in preschool or didn't need the help any more. So I am nervous about that.

That's great about the daycare, Shannon! Even if it doesn't help with the speech for now, it will help him with the comprehension, the social and the behaviour things that you've been concerned about. There may be some free or subsidized daycares in your city. I hope that the CDW gets around to reviewing the tape soon! She sure is taking her time about it now, isn't she?!

There is no free daycare in Winnipeg but there is sudsized but that as you probably know goes off the last year income which says that we make to much. That is just :twisted: becuase that was before Zoee adn the house and I make alot less than I did before Hobbes and Zoee. So We are going to see if the special services worker we have can help us in some type of way because he really does need to go which we have come to realize. When Hobbes was brn, we didn't want him going to one but we didn't think of the social, developemental aspect of daycare.
Yes, it is takling her along time to review this tape. I think that it is been two months now. It is hard being patience because we are also waiting to hear about this so that she can fill of the disability benifits paper properly. She had put that Hobbes 's speech was not the problem when it is because he can't talk at all. So I am also waiting to here if she is going to correct that error or not. Grrrrrr, on ething after another!

Bummer about the wait for the review of the tape, that's awful, and the incorrect report, sigh :roll: . And I know what you mean, it's so hard to know what's normal or not, since all kids tend to be so different.
