Hello:
The last time I wrote I was able to post in the success stories but that was a short lived success! The end of 12/04 Marcus was up to 33 pounds which was great and he was eating!!! We went back to the GI doctor the beginning of 2/05 and he lost 2 pounds and stopped eating again!!!! No I should say he is eating but not every day and when he does only a couple of small bites. So now the night feeds have gone back up to 725ml at night every night, we tried 700ml 5 days a week but I guess that back fired! He has had his tube for 2 1/2 years and still going to GI once a month!! I just want him to gain weight and eat. The other issue that we are having whwen Marcus does try to eat he passes it right though is little system one way or another!! No wonder why he does not want to eat, I also am wonder if the tube is causing more harm than good because now at 4 he is so use to not having to eat but the Dr. says there is no way we can stop the tube feedings. The good thing is his reflux seems to be getting a little bit better. Marcus is still on the Peractin which GI thinks is not working as good as it did before because his body is getting use to it!!!
I feel we are back to sqaure one!! Just needed to vent!!!!
