Since we switched Daniel from Prevacid to Prilosec, diapers have gotten pretty stinky and a lot softer -- though not great quantities, not diahrrea. Anyone else using Prilosec go through this? Do you think he'll get used to it and things will go back to normal?

Hmmm, I don't remember what happened when we switched Shae. I would think that they would start to get back to normal once his body adjusts to the change though?

We used prilosec and his were always soft.

Yup! Stinky and soft come with the Losec territory in this house. Perhaps that's why Evan has never had to deal with the constipation that so mnay other refluxers deal with. Have you also noticed that the urine smells stronger?

I can't smell the urine over the pooh! :lol: Actually, I noticed it smelled like chemicals when he was on the amoxicillin, and then it seemed to go back to normal. Also, we started giving Daniel a second dose of prilosec at night until his tummy settles, so I think it's extra yucky right now.
