Well my dear friends, we had a downward spiril and I didn't even know it. She has been complaining about "throwing up in her mouth" for some time. I ask if it hurts and she always says no. I thought that was a good thing that there was no pain. last month I took her to the dentist and a tooth that was not even completely out yet was had major decay all over what was showing. The dentist said this is not a brushing issue. this is caused from reflux. He ask if she was complaining about stomach pain. I said no.
Needless to say the ped was the next trip. We put her on previcid (at $157.00 dollars a month) and she still compained about throwing up in her mouth. Took her back and she had a red throat, sinusitus and her breath smelled awful. So Doc said it wasn't working. We switched her to prilosec. Seemed to get better.
Meanwhile we were waiting a month to get in with the GI. The appointment was yesterday (Tuesday). We were told that if the reflux did that to her tooth they were very worried about her esophosus (you think I would know how to spell that by now). Since Savannah does not feel pain like a normal child there is a good possibility that she is not recognizing heartburn. They wanted to see her for a scope Thurs. We have a nice doc. He fit her in as soon as she was off med long enough. Last night she was up all night with stomach pain. I don't know if the prilosec got her comfortable enough to recognize her pain or if she is comming down with something. Milk did not seem to help nor did cold water. She is playing now and acting very grumpy. On the bright side the Doc said there is still a 40% chance she cold still grow out of this when she passes adolencence.
I have suffered with anxiety off and on since my early 20s. for the last couple of months it has been really bad. I think the news of her "going under" has thrown me over the edge. It's times like this that i wish I was not allergic to alcohol. She is 8 years old now. Eating anything we put in front of her and she even lost her cheek bones. Don't tell her i am saying this but she has a cute little butt too. How could this have happend things were really good. :censored: :censored: :censored: .
Anyway for those of you who remember me. Hello again and for those of you who don't. it is nice to meet you.
