Hi There,
My 9 month old son recently (past few days) started refusing the bottle. When he does accept it in his mouth (if he's extremely hungry- in the morning), he is sucking strangely- sort of weak. He is getting his top two teeth, but I'm not sure this is the only issue.
I'm sure that his reflux is under control (or the acid) because he's on an extremely high dose of Prevacid. Also, he is willing to take all solids and drink water from a cup. I've tried formula in a cup and a sippy and neither work. I've also tried spoon feeding the formula to no avail.
What could be going on here? I'm guessing he is a candidate for feeding therapy. I'm sure I have a small window for opportunity here and I want to make sure I don't do anything to make the behaviors any worse.
Thanks so much in advance for any help you can offer.
