I saw this product in my parent's magazine and wish I would have seen it when Peyton was first born and I had so much trouble getting her to sleep

That does look really cool. It looks more comfortable and cozy then a baby seat.

I am really tempted to get it. The cost is as much as a car seat--I could get a another Britax--haha. I wonder if I got it if I could recoop the cost when I was done?

As the Web site's OT, here is my 2 cents worth. Great that it is 30 degrees, which is reflux protocol. Even better that it is easy to clean. However, bad design for gastric emptying and head molding. In fact, this is why physicians discourage infant car seats mom's! Flexion at the hips and compression of the abdomen sends that reflux back up to the esophagus where we DON'T want it. In addition, kiddos in infant carriers/car seats get lovely cases of torticollis (neck shortening) and plagiocephaly (head flattening). Ever see a baby with a helmet on? If you purchase a sleep positioner, make sure it has a flat surface for good hip extension.

Good point Robynne! It does look enticing and comfy.I went with tummy sleeping per my Dr's ok.

Robynne I cannot pm anyone yet but I was curious when you talk about hip extension do you think cloth diapering has a positive or negative impact? The diapers tend to be bulky at night. Thanks!
