I am toying with just buying our own tubing kits off the net. Our home healthcare place is not at all some place easy to go with 2 kids, they are slow and its a PAIN. We have been limping buy with the same tubing kit for afew months now because there is never a good time to drag 2 kids in and make myself crazy for 45 minutes. But we REALLY need a new tubing kit, so I told DH I was just going to buy them off the net. But now I am getting cold feet, I am afraid it won't work with our nebulizer.
Also, I saw that you can buy compressors that look like penguins and or a fire truck. Id really like to have a second one to keep at my parents if it were not going to cost a fortune. But I also don't want to buy junk. It would be nice to not have to drag the whole nebulizer with us ever time we go visit.
Thanks for the help!
Most neb kits are universally compatible. As long as they are new and unused, I don't see much of a problem with buying them someplace other than your HH co. As for the firetruck and penguin compressors, I don't have personal experience with them, so I can't give an opinion. Both Pari and DeVilbiss make nice portable compressors. I personally have a Pari Trek. It's about the size of 2 decks of cards laid side by side and comes with a vehicle adapter. II have never had any problems with it. We now use DeVilbiss portables for our home setups at work, and I have not received any complaints on those, either. Both would make an excellent backup compressor.

Sorry to butt in, but I have a good link...
I ordered some extra Pari tubing/nebulizer cups and 2 conversion mask kits(fit much better than bubbles the fish mask) off the internet earlier this week(Brent likes snapping them to pieces lol faster than insurance will cover them). I ordered them Monday and they arrived today. Decently priced, and I got everything I ordered. They also have some good nebulizer compressers, they have DeVilbiss and Pari.
We have PARI Proneb 2 Ultra pediatric compresser, and I loove it. :) We also have a Respironics Inspiration Elite and it does a good job as well. HTH
