Hi-
I posted a message already and never introduced myself. My name is Diane and my sons name is Tristan. He was born on 3-31-04. He is so beautiful.... But I knew the first night that something was not right. The nurse said it was a little reflux and to elevate his bassinette. We did that. But he kept making mouth movements like he was trying to swallow. (He never really spit up alot). One time after a couple of weeks, he projectile vomitted really good. The Dr. set us up with a barium swallow test and that is how the reflux came to be...... I thought and so did everyone else that I was nuts. I had serious post partum(SP) anxiety that something was going to happen to Tristan because we had tried so long to have him. And everyone made me feel like that was more the problem than Tristans reflux. Well I realized early on, I can't discuss alot of his reflux issues with anyone because they just don't get it....
Thank God for this site.
