Yikes, what do I do? She's given up her 1 and only nap during the day and conks out on the car ride home from daycare, and that's it! Luckily (yes for now anyway), she still drinks formula in a bottle and I can get something into her belly while she is asleep, but I can't see getting a spoon full of smooshed fruit with prevacid sprinkled on top.

Does anyone have any tips on how to gently keep her up? I've tried and she just totally cranks out on me. I wonder if I should get her up out of bed earlier in the a.m., almost forcing her to have to take a nap...I'm lost and don't know what to do, plus I miss my baby when I get home

Any ideas?

If it's any consolation, Jean, Brandon went through the supper time nap and, more recently, Evan too. We've actually had to limit how much they sleep that late in the day, or they're up half the night. It does pass though. With both of our boys, there was no possible way to gently keep them awake. If they are that tired, they'll sleep no matter what we do. With Evan, it helps if I can let him sleep in a little longer in the morning. That was he doesn't usually need the late afternoon/early evening power nap.

Can you try giving Meghan a tasty bite of applesauce/pureed fruit first and then a bite with mushed up medicin stirred in?

Hope I'm making sense. It's really hot here today and I'm beat!
