Hi everyone, Just wanted to post a quick hello. I have a 19 1/2 month old daughter who still suffers mostly silent reflux but as of recent, she has started projectile vomitting at every meal/after every meal.

She currently takes 2 15mg capsules of prevacid a day and we are scheduled for a GI scope on Monday which I am not looking forward too. She is a beautiful little girl, I hate seeing her go thru this.

Me, Well, I'm a single mom and decided to take the venture to mommy-hood alone as my clock was ticking (I'm 37) and have not met Mr. Wonderful yet. I hope that noone takes offense to my single status and do hope to get to know you all!!!

Hi Jean and Meghan and welcome!!! I'm glad you found us and joined!

Sorry your daughter is still struggling with her reflux :( ! Please let us know how her scope goes, we will be thinking about her.

 I admire you for taking on motherhood while single, you sound very independant! I don't think any will take offense to your single status, I think most of us have felt like single moms from one time or another, Mr. Wonderful tends to not be oh so helpful with little refluxers   .

Where abouts in MA are you? My mother is south of Boston (Taunton) and Shae and I are visiting her for the next couple weeks.

Again, welcome and I look forward to getting to know you and your daughter!

Hey Jean,
I'm glad you are joining the boards. It is nice to meet you. I sent another reply to you and addressed it to Meghan, not Jean because I'm so tired that I wasn't thinking and I'll I remember seeing is Meghan's mom. Sorry! Let us know how Meghan is doing. I'm so sorry that you are having a rough time. My husband works all the time so I feel like a single parent. That is hard enough. I admire you for taking on the challenge alone! You must be a strong woman. Good thing you didn't wait around for Mr. Wonderful. I haven't seen many of them lately  Well, we all have to be strong for our kids even if we don't feel like it somedays! Talk to you soon. :D
