My name is Kelly Shiley and I am the mother of Seth Michael --a 6 mo. old refluxer who is tube fed. I posted my story last night and I can't believe how many people have already responded with words of encouragement, hope, and understanding. All your stories and courageous attitudes have given me hope beyond words, motivated me to keep advocating for Seth, and given me strength that I deserately need. You all are AMAZING women. I look forward to conversing with you all more. Please email me anytime you need a word of encouragement or need to vent. I am so excited to be part of this group. Nobody that I know personally has dealt with GERD and sometimes I just feel so alone. Have a great day...and Thank you for letting me join the group. :)

No problem, Kelly. We're all so lucky to have found other parents of refluxers who can be our support, especially on the really tough days. I, too, knew no one else with reflux before finding Roni's forum. I know that you say that no thanks is necessary, Roni, but thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

I live in Georgia but am originally from Goldsboro, NC (about 45 min east of Raleigh)
I love this site. I can always find someone here who knows what I'm going through, whatever it may be at the time.
