My kids are falling apart:hissyfit:
When I got to Stephs this morning she was still in bed......she began calling for me.....I went to her room and she was laying in bed in severe pelvic pain.......what happened.......she felt fine, woke to pee, felt fine, laid back down and cramps began, she thought it weird and tried to ignore it, by the time I got there it was unbearable for her (keep in mind she has been threwan awful MC and given birth) she can take a lot of pain......she was ready for me to call the rescue squad.....I got a hold of Eden who live five doors down and took Steph to the ER.....as typical chldren do she began to feel better on the way in....by the time the Dr was seening her...pain was GONE! Now remeber no pain while peeing, after, no pain either, it began as cramps and esciladed
the pain was very low pelic pain ... not left or right, no fever, urine showed a slight white cell count, the Dr is treating her for a bladder infection, even though there is no puss in her urine......gave her abx Bioxin(sp) and some other med to control bladder spasms.... ??? She is home now....feeling a slight tension in the pelvic area..and if she moves around to much it begins to hurt...... doesn't sound like bladder infection to me...... she is also complaining that she feels bloated there... it's just above the pelvic bone...... I don't know....the pain she was in this A.M. was not what I would consider bladder infection pain. She was rocking and hyperventilating it was so painful...... he ruled out cysts or ovaries because it was so central.

when I left she said it felt like it was just waiting to happen again..... BTW, I called her boss and she was a total B....... wanted to know if she would be in and due to previous call ins she had to bring the release papers from then ER.... Steph has worked there for over a year and when she is not scheduled to work, she is on call....so other than Wed & Sunday her days off, she is at there beckon call......which they take advantage of very often....only one hours notice is giver to come in....she works about 45-50 hours a week....... she has called in sick 2 times before today..... I felt she thought I was lying for Steph..... never wanted to know what was wrong with her..... saying this is bad...she meant bad for business....... they probably had to cancel some of Stephs appts for today..... hmmmm, this is why they need back up therapists!!!! Didn't say anything about letting them know what was happening to her, just the copy of the ER papers..... They don't give a rip about their employees....Steph always complains about the treatment they receive..... now I got it first hand, she really was mad.....:violent1:
So what's wrong with this kid?:sad5:

???? Tubal Pregnancy???? I am not sure if it is possible. But they are very, very painful and then there is relief after they rupture? But I think the pain usually lasts longer before it ruptures? I am not sure. It does not sound like UTI to me.

Extreme constipation??? It sounds like the pain I've had from it lately. Other than that or horrible gas, I'm not sure, Debbie. Has she had any more episodes today?

Shes not pregnant...she was sure of it and they tested anyway.....she had a BM this morning too.......she called me about 3:00pm to tell me it was starting again, not as bad but enough to hear it in her voice and for her to lay down....I figured I had better run over cause we didn't know what was going to happen again and when I got there she was doing her dishes, it had stopped. She still has the constant feeling it will act up again......I don't know ...the only thing that says bladder is where it's located ....no other symptoms for that.

It could be bladder spasms, Deb. They can be really painful. Does it ease after she takes the spasm med?

Debbie could it be PID? My mom has it and she is in extreme pain like that. Or ovarian cyst? I have had one rupture on e and trust me, I would rather go through childbirth anytime. I hope both of your girlsfeel better soon.

not really sure yet....the pain stopped before she took the first one.....why the heck would a person have bladder spasms??? I asked the MD and he just shrugged his shoulders...gotta love ER Docs!!! She has not taken another to my knowledge.....she hates taking meds if not necessary.

What is PID? We and the Dr don't think ovaries as it's not near them and she was not sensative to the exam either.

Pelvic inflamitory disease. It is very painful. And with the ovaries my pain was in the middle down by the pelvic bone(yeah I know sounds weird). I wasn't sensitive to the exam when they did one either. They didn't think i was either until they did the ultrasound. I hope Steph feels better soon:hug: .

My first thought was ovarian cysts too. I've had two incidents where they ruptured and hemorraged internally. Labor was less painful!

my galbladder pain was mostly up higher and was quite painfull took them months to diagnose it and i thought it was gas pain so i stopped drinking cola , the pain was worse than labor when i finally went to the ER and that doc thought it was gallbladder and gave me ultrasound which confirmed it... my primary was sending me to a GI cause i got lots of heartburn too
