Catherine had her second class today. It only took her 25 minutes to join her class versus the 40 minutes it took last time to move from the doorway to 2 feet inside the room. Woohoo!!!
Once she started participating, I could see Little Miss Law and Order giving the girls who were not patiently waiting their turns the most hateful looks! She was totally glaring and gritting her teeth at the girls who were prancing around and not waiting for instruction. :haha:
An added bonus is that I found out that one of the girls will be starting preschool with Catherine in the fall so at least she'll know someone there. That may ease the transition.
That's such great news....I am so happy for her and excited that she is being so social!! Good things ahead for her, that's for sure! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Catherine and I have been going to Starbucks after class as a reward. For some reason, Starbucks is her favorite restaurant on earth. (That's my girl! :toothy10:) Next Saturday, I'm going to ask Lily's mom if they want to join us. Lily is the girl who will be going to school with Catherine in the fall. It would be nice if they could actually socialize a bit as dance class is a pretty formal, orderly setting. Lily seems to be a very vivacious, outgoing little girl, and I think she'd be a good influence on Catherine. She turned 3 in November so she's just a bit older.

That's wonderful Lesley. Soon, Catherine will be running from the car to the door of the Ballet studio, and loving every minute of it.
As for starbucks - WTG Catherine! It's my fav too, but I've been trying to cut back since preggo. However, I have simply downgraded to a 1/2 caf carmel macchiato instead of the full 2 shots (I used to actually get 3 shots when I was not PG).
I spend a small fortune there. We actually have a Starbucks Visa so I earn Starbucks "bucks" for charging things on the credit card!!!

There are three in my office building and another five within a 3-mile radius of my house. It's hard to stay away!

That is great! I am sure she will be running into class in no time. That is a good idea to try to get the girls together, it would be nice if Catherine has a friend when she starts school.

I love "little miss law and order" - I might have to steal that for Henry. I know that look - H got it right before he pushed a little boy on the playground who butted in line for the slide.
As for the starbucks - yum. I could go for my lowfat cafe mocha no whip right about now.
