Jeez ... I feel like all I'm doing is whining lately. I think the stress of the holidays (which I find nearly overwhelming) brings to the surface issues I would normally just internalize.

I had my hair colored and cut yesterday. This is one of the few luxuries I allow myself. Instead of enjoying it, I found myself worrying the whole time how Catherine would react. My hair is drastically different from anything she's ever seen ... between chin and shoulder length and poker-straight and a lot more red in it than I normally go with. She has clung to me like a leech ever since I got home yesterday evening and all day today, like she's not sure I really am "mama." Any attempt to put her down results in howls. This was sooooo much fun as we were grocery shopping this morning. As small as she is, she gets pretty darn heavy toting her up and down all the grocery store aisles.

Thank God she's taking a nap right now ... my back needs a break!

I thought from the title that it had to do with Catherine's haircut...but nope!

I'm glad you were able to get away for a bit, and hope that Catherine soon warms up to your new haircut/color. And post a new pic so we can see it! :)

HUGS glad you go to have your hair done, sorry thats its hard for little miss to get ued to your new do, hopefully she will calm down over the next day or so
also the smells from the colour they used and shampoo etc may be difernt to you usual smell ( not saying you smel lol) like have a difernt perfume so that mixed with the new look can be stressfull for the over sensitive type perhaps after you re wash your hair and get all the colour smell out she may feel better

I know how you feel i tried a new perfume the other day and poor miki was lost with it wasnt til i had a shower and got my pjs on thats she setled properly

Amy has a good point, maybe when the smell is gone she will be better with it. I hope she adjusts soon. I am gald you took the time to do something for yourself, you deserve it.

I don't even have Jayden 24-7 like you and I am so mad I didn't get my hair cut before Christmas...I need it so badly...I can totally relate to the clingy screaming kiddo though ...Jayden insists on being carried in the store too...I can't do it......and his newest thing is to scream and screech till he gags himself and gets his reflux rolling...it is a blast. But when they are sweet they are the sweetest little loves in the whole world...it just gets to be a little much sometimes....then ya feel guilty for betting irritated with it.....but I'm glad you got a new dew....get us a shot of it!!:smt036

Ummmm ... once I wash it tomorrow and try to straighten it myself (I have very curly hair), it will never look right, and it's too far gone now for a photogenic pic! :haha:
