She puked again last night. BAD. Screaming, grabbing her throat saying it's burning, I'm on fire. I thought for sure she was sick but as soon as I got her a drink of water she stopped puking and was 100% fine.
I swear if I have to change sheets one more time this week....

Is Mag still on 45 mg prevacid...is she using the tabs...does she chew them?
I'm wondering, even though the Dr swear kids don't become immune to meds....is it worth a med switch....maybe losec or nexium?

Mag's GI has made it very clear that becoming immuned in a big possibility especially since she's been on it for so long. She can't take prilosec because of the pyloric stenosis and my understand is nexium is almost identical to prilosec.

Geez... that doesn't leave many options...did GI suggest anything else?

Just a quicl question what the thing with losec and pyloric stenosis miki is on losec and has PS is that not right mmm i not sure now doesnt work wel any way for her as you know but just curiuos of the link

Omeprazole's number one side effect is cramping and spasms of the stomach and pyloris so I guess with the history of PS issues it's better not to chance it. I think he once said it can make DGE worse too but I'm not positive.
