On a dark and stormy night ...

Catherine has worn smooth-knit tights before with no problem. I put a pair of cable-knit tights on her yesterday with no problem. Navy blue with a red and navy sailor dress -- she was adorable. :toothy10:

After we got in the car to go to babysitter/work, she started screaming and didn't quit until I carried her, still kicking and screaming, into the babysitter's house. I finally got her calmed enough to tell me she didn't want to wear the tights. I stripped them off on the spot. Then she whispered to me that she didn't want anyone to talk to her, and she went on her merry way to the play room. What a way to start the morning!

Poor little one....

I myself have often wondered what Madaline would say if she could talk and make comment about the thngs that I put on her. I love to dress in layers - so what do I do to Maddy? Dress her in layers. We have been all about the tights lately - mainly becuase my little bug is such a Houdini about geting her socks off. But soon here in upstate NY it will be to darn cold for anything other than pants.

I can only imagine the screams, Lesley. That's Ava's current feeling about a shirt of any kind...she cannot stand for anything to touch her...at all. You'd think this was a nudist colony. As for what to do when we go to Cinci, I'm at a loss...she will NOT sleep in a shirt right now.

I did have to laugh when Catherine whispered to you that she didn't want anyone to talk to her! :rolling:
