Last night Maggie woke up crying because she puked in her sleep. As soon as I picked her up she stopped crying but she couldn't sit up on her own. She was wobbling all over my lap and she would tense up and jerk a tiny bit over and over again. As soon as I laid her back down it stopped. Dh thinks it's just because she was tired and out of it. It scared the crap out of me.
Am I just being paranoid? Would you overlook it and chalk it up to being tired?

Lena, I probably wouldn't. Was she in pain from puking, do you think? How has she been overall lately???

She didn't act like she was in pain. I just asked her and she said it tasted yucky. She also informed me she puked on her stuffed dog but didn't want me to wash it....
At first I thought she was about to puke on me, like a retch but it was much quicker. Or even a shudder from crying to much but they were so short and quick over and over again. She only cried for a few seconds though.

I don't know. It would have freaked me out, that is for sure. I hope it was just a one time thing and that if never happens again.

I would keep an eye on her, but offer a possible scenario here.

Curran rarely barfs in bed anymore as he swallows it. However, when he is having a reflux flare, he is up quite a bit and when he gets overtired he is unable to 'catch the puke' and we have barfage in bed. When that happens, he is exhausted from having been up so much and not having a good quality of sleep, so he is as rigid as jello. I know Curran also seems to have sleep deprivation issues due to his incredible snoring, but it is always much, much worse with reflux flares. We have had one again due to the stomach flu here.

Just a thought and I hope you figure it out.
