We got a notice that ours is affected in today's mail.

Although no injuries have been reported, there is a potential for the harness adjustment strap to loosen during use. If this were to occur, the harness may be loose around the child, possibly increasing the risk of injury in a crash. We feel that it is important to replace the harness adjustment strap.

About gave me a heart attack! Noah has only had his new car seat for two weeks and it's an Alpha Convertible. It's a 22457 though, so barely got out of that one. Thanks for the heads up!

So far, we're 1 for 2. Jack's car seat in my car is in the recall but Michael's isn't. I ordered the replacement kit for Jack's seat. I'll have to check the seats in DH's car when he gets home. I'm guessing it will be the same scenario because I'm pretty sure we bought 2 of each boy's car seats at the same time since we knew we needed one for each of our cars.

Thanks for the heads up because we're not always as diligent as we should be about registering our belongings. :oops: And when the Manufacturer website asked where I heard about the recall, I responded "from a friend". It never ceases to amaze me how many FRIENDS I've made here without ever actually meeting them! :hug:

Yikes - we bought Maddy's seats second hand - I will have to check them later today..
