I haven't used either of those specific monitors, but I do use similar ones. They are comparable to the bigger, standalone tabletop monitors in terms of accuracy, and they are very convenient. Throw it in your pocket and go, so to speak. However, they do not work well on kids under 7 or 8 years old. They are designed for an adult finger, and kids' little fingers often won't trigger the machine to take a reading. The price you found is a good one, assuming it is a brand new unit.

cool thanks for your quick reply, i found an even cheaper brand new one from Hongkong, bt it is also a finger one so i dont think i wil bother,

They seriuosly need to bring out a baby one would be so much easier lol typical, i just hate the desk top ones wth the feet tape, and its looking like she wil be back on it soon

thanks again your the best

Amy, see if you can find something like this. It's portable (but not as small as the finger units) and uses the same probes that you would use at home. List price is outrageous, but sometimes you can find a deal on eBay, etc. These are the same model we use at work and they are very reliable and accurate.

Sorry, Amy, they just don't work on little ones. It won't fit their foot or earlobe, and if you do manage to get a foot or toe into it, it just doesn't have a good enough reading to be reliable. Personally, I think it would be a waste of your $100 and shipping, but you could always try it. Miki is just so small, I don't think there is much of a chance of getting it to work for her for another couple of years.
