Shoot me :censored: now!

The lightbulb about using the potty apparently has come on for Catherine tonight. She used her potty several times voluntarily before bed, but she's now spent the last two hours shrieking in her bed about "pee pee coming" and "poo poo coming" and either of those being in her bed. I've gotten her up several times to sit on the potty with no success and changed her twice when a drop of urine did come out. She's in panic mode because she's afraid she'll pee or poo in her diaper, and now she's so far gone she can't calm down and nothing will help. She's nearly shrieked herself hoarse.

I see this as only the first of many nights so how do we get through them? Thanks.

She fought me so much tonight when I tried to put her to bed that she accidentally split both of my lips with the top of her head. Fortunately, she's so exhausted from too little sleep last night and no nap today, exhausted to the point of being incoherent, that she passed out after only 10 minutes or so of shrieking.

Okay, Catherine is now living up to her horrible nick name...lol! Because her behavior is out of control and there is no reasoning with a child her age, you are going to have to try different strategies. Try the "big girl" panties during nap time during the day. We have got to start her on a Wilbarger program. I am looking for your addy now and I am heading to the UPS store.
