my baby was diagnose with refluc since 3 wks old(now 51/2). I tried soy, alimentun, nutramigen, and neocate formulas. I recently took him to a Naturophatic/nutritionist doctor. She told me he has an allergy to soy, corn, and brown rice. She prescribed a goat's milk base formula. I have to add other ingredients such as folic acid etc. He is doing so much better. Doesn't vomit like he used to just when I burp him (spits up). But he is constipated. His pediatrician told me to take him off goat's milk because is not recommended for infants. I tried medications prevacid /zantac and I definetely would not put him on reglan. Even with the medication he still vomited. WOke up crying because formula was coming up. He was always belching and had slow gastric emptying. What do you think of goat's milk. Dr. Sears even recommends goats milk because it suppose to be easier to digest.
