Recently, we have had some cases of members ignoring a thread re-direct from site staff.

Site staff go into a thread when it becomes "off topic" or moves significantly away from the thread starter's (original poster) question. We all have a lot of fun around here and thread re-directs are not done unless it becomes hostile or has acquired a troll.

Our community here is absolutely second to none and your Super Moderators and Site Admin work hard to keep it that way. Our members by and large provide the best support and information available and our site staff is simply the best.

Should a thread become off topic and meet the parameters of requiring a re-direct, we ask that members use the "report post" button you see on the left hand side of the offending post, just over from the "online/offline" indicator. It is the triangle outlined in red with a black bar in it. If you run your mouse over this symbol, you will see "report post". Simply click on it and fill in the blaniks. By reporting a post, you will help to enable site staff to deal with the situation quickly and ensure our site remains what it has always been: a haven to those in need of support and a community we are all proud to participate in.

Reported posts will be examined by site staff and a determination of a course of action will be taken, be it editing or deleting the questionable post. Decisions by site staff are final and should editing be done, the member will be notified as to what was edited and why.

Once a site staff member has stated a re-direct on the thread, be it by a Community Leader, Super Moderator, or Site Admin, it MUST ABSOLUTElY BE RESPECTED. Members who chose to ingore a re-direct and further push a topic to the point of hostility will find themselves with either an infraction or banned either temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the offence. There are no warnings.

This has not been a problem with our core group in any way, it seems that some members with a history of trolling are the problem.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
