Does anyone have vacation plans for this summer?

We are trying to figure out if we want to go anywhere. Traveling with Henry sounds like a lot of work - but I think he would like it.

Alan has a few business trips planned and we might try and extend one of his trips and tag along. Maybe Miami - I love South Beach!

Hmmmm...I don't think we'll be going anywhere this summer. We might take a long weekend to the Dells and hit up a kid-friendly waterpark with Aubrey. She loved the indoor one this past winter so we'll see what happens.

WE are trying to get a trip to the Beaches resort, probably in January or around there so we're saving that for our "big" trip. Although the thought of traveling with Aubrey on a plane for like 4 hours scares me a bit.

We'll be heading to the ocean up north over here in Germany next Saturday, staying there for a week. My parents come with us as well, this is probably our last vacation together before we move back to the states.
In August we are planning to visit my inlaws, can't wait to cuddle my 2 nieces.

Unfortunately, I don't have any. :( My mom and stepdad are thinking of taking the older grandchildren to Gatlinburg sometime in the next couple of weeks for a few days. Nick and I wouldn't be able to go though because of work, but could possibly go down for the weekend. We aren't sure on that one yet. We've been trying to get away to Gatlinburg for almost two years now though, so hopefully sometime in the next year. LOL

In October, I will get another week of vacation from work. I'm thinking that during one of the kids' 4 day weekends, we may go to PA to see Nick's family. He hasn't seen them since he was 18 and of course I haven't met them and they haven't seen Noah.

none for us :( I am going back to work full time July 2nd- next vacation will be in feb or march to Disneyland (maybe Evangelique will be off the pump then- I know wishful thinking :))

We are driving up to Montana again this July for a family reunion and my cousin's wedding. It's a long full day's drive, but Josh did great last summer. He'll have my mom, sister and stepdad, plus dh and I...all piled in our minivan to save gas, lol. So, there will be plenty of people to entertain him.

dh is on my last nerve about this. He is so anti-family vacations and thinks that a vacation should be enjoyed by us alone. In a perfect world.

When we were little we never went on big trips just weekends usually to Canaga like wonderland, african lion safari, the falls and it was so much fun just to be in the hotel. I want to do that with our kids and he is on the fence. It won't be easy, but geez I am not going to be a prisoner in my house b/c we have kids!! I am planning going to the Toronto Zoo and maybe the science center of african lion safari or Marine Land. Jack LOVES animals and the trip is short enough for Sam and my oldest can enjoy some of it.

We are headed to my parents in Sarasota for Labor Day weekend again this year, they are also visiting us in a few weeks so we are looking forward to that. We will be in Sarasota for 5 days this year. In on Thursday afternoon, late and out Tuesday night. The traveling went amazingly well last year so I am hoping it will be even easier now. I did get a seat for each of the boys so we can bring their car seats and they will be comfy. I had lots of miles so I only had to buy 2 tickets.

Linds, maybe we can have a meet-up this time!

We just spent a week in Hawaii with my parents, so that is about it.

We always try to spend time in Montana as that is where I am from!
