I'm so glad I'm FINALLY in the house that we plan/hope to retire in. Actually, I've lived here longer already (5 years) than I think I've lived anywhere else!

OK, if you don't count college dorms/apartments, I've moved five times. I grew up in the same house all my life, lived in a couple of different apartments in Boston, then another apartment for a year when we moved here to Albuquerque, then into our house. We've been in our house for almost five years. I'd love it if we never moved!

Hmmm...probably about 15 entire life. 2 different houses in OH before we moved to FL when I was 7/8, 4 houses here, moved to Gainesville to go to UF, moved to Raleigh, NC w/ my ex, moved back to FL, and then dh and I have moved like 5 times. We bought this house 3 years ago, and we'll be here for awhile.

Only 4 times - from Sacremento Ca to STL and then to a few houses in STL. We have lived in our home now for almsot 9 years. We will probably be moving in the next few years - but staying close to where we are now. I have not moved too far - I live within walking distance of where I went to grade school.

ok 1st with my parents i know at least 6 times they rented then david my ex turned crack head and i rented would be my 1st apt i left him became homeless moved into a beach cottage small but 2bdrm 9 mos later.in between i moved my stuff from the apt to storage and then from storage to cottage.stayed there 2 years then when Jim died moved out of there one street over..been here a year now moving to bradford to a 3 bdrm

Well, I see I'm not the only person who's moved around a lot
I've only lived in 2 states (NJ and PA)
BUT moved at least 10-15x

Since DH and I have been married this is our 3rd place
Before we married we bought a condo together
We them moved into a 3 bedroom home
About 1 yr ago we moved into a 4 bedroom about 30min from where we bought out first home

I HATE HATE HATE it here, and really want to love again
I would like to move back to were we lived previously or further South Jersey by my mom/bro and sil...neices

We were hoping this would be out retirement house, but guess it just wasn't meant to be

8 times in six years. Gotta love the Navy.

Oh I can't list them all but I am counting 15 for now.......now that I'm thinking it has been more:sad5: and I don't plan to stay here.
BTW Aim my dh lived in Berwyn and Lagrange...My FIL is the President of the board or somthing like that at Lagrange Hosp...they used to live across the street from McNeil Hosp... it no longer exhists. He went to St.Louise...I think....
