My favorite movie would be a toss up between Steel Magnolias and Gone with the Wind.

I didn't realize it but last night me and DH watched Dazed and Confused (a movie once again put out when we were in high school) and noticed that matthew mchonnahy and ben afflack were in it... and matthew wore these salmon colored tight pants... My all time fave is Serial Mom, with Kathleen Turner. I'm a John Waters freak, and that is BY FAR his best work!

LOL Didn't know we were going to list ALL of our favorites. Here's what I can think of right off aside from The Notebook:

Wanna hear something funny? My dh's high school buddies wrote the screenplay for Harold & Kumar Go to Whilte Castle. No joke. We saw the movie before it premiered (also got to attend the premiere in NYC--I was 7 months pregnant and waiting to get into the theater with a bunch of stoners. Fun!)
